Jerry L. Kingsley

Jerry L. Kingsley, 86 of Aurora, died Wednesday August 8, 2018 at Westfield Quality Care Center, Aurora.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Pleasant View Bible Church, Aurora, with the Rev. Bob Gannon officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Pleasant View Bible Church.

Jerry was born on May 23, 1932 in Denman, the son of Harvey and Mary (Morgan) Kingsley. He grew up in Denman and attended schools in Denman and Shelton. He owned his own business working as a building contractor and master electrician for 30 years before retiring.
On January 29, 1959 he was united in marriage to Jeanie Follmer in Grand Island. They lived in Grand Island, Des Moines, IA, Granger, IA and then retiring in Aurora. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, golfing, his family, and most importantly, his love for Jesus.  He spent his days listening to worship music, praying for his family and reading his Bible.  His favorite verse was Joshua 24:15 “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”  
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jeanie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Michelle Kingsley of Aurora, Jim and Kelly Kingsley of Bellevue; grandchildren, Jeff (Katie) Kingsley of Grand Island, Maggie (Cody) Wragge of Bellevue, Molly (Justin) Brueggemann of Papillion, Lauren and Shayla Schuster of Aurora; and two great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Brooks.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, three sisters, two brothers, one grandson, one granddaughter, and his father and mother-in-law.
