Future Problem Solvers compete, win internationally

Earlier this summer, members of Aurora’s Future Problem Solvers team travelled to La Crosse, Wisc., to compete in the international competition. Sophomore Hannah Pedersen took first in the individual competition as did seniors Lukas Pohlmann, Kristen McCoy, Abby Ostdiek and Amber Mikkelsen in the team competition.
This year’s two-hour-long competition was centered on the criminal justice system and the students had to develop challenges and solutions for a futuristic scenario given at the beginning of the competition.
