A blueprint for Nebraska

A group of Nebraska leaders representing business, agriculture, government and higher education announced Friday the formation of Blueprint Nebraska, a statewide coalition that will develop a plan for economic growth, competitiveness and prosperity as Nebraska looks to its next 150 years and beyond.
Aurora native Jayne Mann Smith, one of the project’s steering committee members, said she is excited to be part of the process.
“I think it’s going to be a very eye-opening project,” she said. “It will be interesting to see how much we all have in common from east to west, rural to urban.”
