Judy Ann Kreutz

Giltner resident Judy Ann Kreutz, 77, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at her home in Giltner.      
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at First United Methodist Church in Harvard with Pastor Travis King officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery in Harvard.  Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church in Harvard. A luncheon will follow the graveside service in the church basement. Visitation is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Volland Funeral Home.  Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com.  Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.
Judy was born October 9, 1940, in Hastings, to Ralph and Fern (Samuelson) Bye. She graduated from Trumbull High School and Hastings College. Judy was united in marriage to Phillip Kreutz on February 19, 1966. Judy was a teacher, devoted homemaker, and farm wife.
Over the years Judy was involved in Chi Omega sorority, Chapter L PEO and United Methodist Women. She also took great pride in serving as an organist at Harvard First United Methodist Church for many years. Judy’s greatest enjoyment came from spending time at any activity that included being with her family, parents, children, siblings, and nieces.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Fern Bye; husband, Phillip; and brother, Bill Bye.   
She is survived by: children and spouses: Jane and Jeff Stone of Phillips, Jim and Jaime Kreutz of Giltner;  grandchildren: Chelsey Urbauer of Omaha,Will Reeson of Phillips, Phillip Kreutz of Giltner, Gracie Kreutz of Giltner; sister and  spouse: Patty (Bob) Barnes of North Bend, OR; sister-in-law: Elaine Laux; nieces and nephews: Christy Hoffmeyer, Debbie Gerloff, Tiffany Hubbard, Holly Barnes, Brad Laux, Brian Laux, Russell Kreutz, Dave Kreutz, Susan Crowther, Scott Crowther and Paul Crowther.
