High Plains looking at new grade configuration

High Plains Community Schools has been looking into a possible new grade configuration after a committee was formed to discuss the positives and negatives of a potential change.
Currently the school is set up to have Pre-K through third grades and sixth through eighth grades in Clarks and fourth and fifth grades as well as the high school in Polk. Supt. Brian Tonniges explained how the current setup creates a lot of movement between the sites for each student.
