Lady Huskies fend off Columbus three-point flurry

The Aurora girls basketball team picked up a 48-42 win on the road at Columbus Saturday afternoon despite the Discoverers' best efforts from behind the arc. Columbus scored 30 of its 42 points from three-point land, including all 18 of its first half points. Kennedy Krejdl led the way for the Lady Huskies with 14 points while Corrie Schneider added 13. Aurora will be on the road Tuesday at Holdrege.
