QCS project sparks surge in building permits

Local building activity nearly doubled in the last year, sparked by a $6.8 million nursing home and a surge of 17 new single-family dwellings.
A total of 109 building permits were issued at Aurora City Hall during the past 12 months adding up to $14,354,834. The year-end tally was the community’s highest since 2007.
