Wilma J. Debban

Former Hastings resident, Wilma J. Debban, 86, passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Kearney.     
Services will be Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Marcus J. Mackay officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings.  Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 from 1-7 p.m. with family present from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.  Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com.  Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.
Wilma was born May 14, 1931, to Charles and Lela (Dixon) Arnett in Phillips. She attended Phillips High School. Wilma married Leonard Debban on Oct. 10, 1948. He preceded her in death in June of 2004. Wilma worked for Montgomery Wards Catalog in the management department. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Church Cradle Roll, and Lutheran Women in Mission.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Orville, Leland, Charles, and George; and sisters, Ila Arnett, Opal Ackerman, and Eunice Debban.   
Survivors include: sons and spouses:     Bruce and Barb Debban of Richland, WA; Mark and Marilyn Debban of Kearney; grandsons and spouses: Brent and Deborah Debban, Jeremy and Annie Debban, Bryce and April Debban, Blair and Kimberly Debban; granddaughter and spouse: Emily Johnson Weseman and Theo Weseman; 16 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Purdy of Grand Island and numerous nieces and nephews.
