Flexible seating about more than where kids sit

The way kids engage and learn is changing rapidly in today’s classroom, and not just in terms of the technology at their fingertips.
A relatively new concept called flexible seating is catching on in several local schools, allowing kids to move away from their traditional desks and chairs to get more comfortable, which teachers say is creating a better learning environment.
“This is not a trend as much as a mindset,” explained Laurie Anderson, a veteran kindergarten teacher at Aurora Public Schools.
