High Plains to reconsider football coop proposal

High Plains Community School’s Board of Education will hold a special board meeting Wednesday (Oct. 25) to discuss the future of its football program.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider and take any necessary action related to a two-year football only coop with Osceola Public Schools beginning with the 2018 football season and ending following the 2019 season. The board voted earlier this year not to pursue that option, but is now reconsidering the issue.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the elementary school in Polk.
