Penny M. Hauf

Penny M. Hauf, age 51, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Gulf Port, Mississippi.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 25 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Hampton.  Rev. James Gruber will officiate.    Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service for family members. Penny M. Hauf, the daughter of Richard L. and Carole M. (Uttecht) Hauf, was born in Norfolk, on February 18, 1966 and passed away in Gulf Port, Mississippi on September 14, 2017, at the age of 51.
Penny grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School in 1985.
Penny enjoyed working as a CNA taking care of others.  She liked to travel and loved meeting new people. She also loved riding on the back of a Harley.  She enjoyed playing pool and darts with her brother, David, and would out dance anyone on the dance floor.  But most of all she loved and cherished spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Hauf and her grandparents, William and Thora Hauf and Winifred Uttecht.
Penny is survived by her mother, Carole Hauf of Clay Center; daughter, Brianna Hauf and friend Lee Anderson of Kearney; three grandchildren: Zachary, Jaidah and Kyler; two sisters, Lynn  Kraft of Clay Center and Jeff and Susan (Tom) Penner of Central City; brother,  David (Randi) Hauf of Aurora, nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
