Week 4 Friday Night Roundup

Week 4 of the area high school football season had some high-scoring drama, with three of the four area teams coming out on the winning end. The Huskies were 20 points down going into the fourth quarter, but had a chance to win in the final two minutes before an interception near the end zone ended the suspense. Scottsbluff held on to win 34-28. In Giltner, the Hornets went tit for tat with Osceola before sealing a 54-44 win with a fourth and five 40-yard touchdown pass from Dayne Hinrichs to Brody Hansen. High Plains also won a high-point showdown, defeating Tri-County 62-48, while Hampton fell to Spalding, 72-6.
