Low numbers spark concern with Storm football

After a 3-3 vote last month shut down a possible two-year football merger with Osceola for 2018-2019, all of the public meeting time during Monday’s High Plains School Board meeting was filled with the voices of concerned parents and football players.
“We had one meeting in May where we were told that everyone would get letters,” Shane Hogan said. “I don’t know that everyone’s quite aware of the numbers and everything that is involved with this co-op. To me everything was a little rushed.”
