Little Free Library makes debut in Marquette Aug. 1

In an effort to promote literacy with the area’s youth, the Heartland United Way has begun putting up Little Free Libraries in seven different communities, most recently in Marquette.
“The Heartland United Way has three focus areas -- health, education and financial stability,” said Heartland United Way president Karen Rathke.
