County businesses and organizations prepare for eclipse

The total solar eclipse Aug. 21 is expected to send area residents and guests outdoors to see the skies grow dark just after high noon, prompting many local businesses and organizations to give employees the opportunity to see the event unfold.
“I get the very definite impression that everyone understands the weight and gravity of this event and are making sure that their employees get at least some time viewing it,” said AACD director Chris Small.
