Loan programs available to state’s beginning farmers

The Rural Response Workshop June 6 didn’t just focus on disaster relief issues facing today’s ag producers, as expert Amy Swoboda from Legal Aid of Nebraska also explained the ways beginning Nebraska farmers could start off on the right foot with the various types of loans available through Farm Service Agency programs.
“We are a non-profit legal law firm throughout Nebraska,” Swoboda said about her organization. “We serve all counties in Nebraska and we have eight offices across the state. We do have income eligibility guidelines, which means you have to fit those to use our services.” See this week's print or e-edition for details.
