PPRI launches final drive to finish Education Center

A 37-year vision to create an education center celebrating the Nebraska prairie is now in its stretch run as the Prairie Plains Resource Institute launches a $400,000 fund drive to complete the Charles Whitney Education Center.
A project first documented in a 1980 mission statement has slowly moved forward in stages over the years, though the end is clearly in sight now as the structure begins to take its final form on the Platte River bluffs northwest of Marquette.
