Huskies win first-ever postseason match

Trailing 3-0 midway through the second half, the Aurora boys soccer team rallied with four goals in the final 22 minutes to defeat Grand Island Central Catholic 4-3 in the opening round of B-7 district action at the York Cornerstone Sports Complex Tuesday night. Grant Moody fired the first goal followed by a pair off the foot of Oscar Reyes while the winning score came from Ryan Hunter with a few minutes remaining. The win marks the first of its kind for the Husky boys soccer team in postseason play with this being its first full season of action. Aurora will play top-seed York tomorrow at 4 p.m.
