Ag Academy gives new perspective on industry

Aurora’s Ag Academy begins its first year hoping to educate students on more than just the basics of agriculture by taking a look into the entire sphere of Hamilton County’s leading industry.
“We thought that instead of making it just an agronomy type class or course that we would be a little more diversified,” said instructor Dana Anderson.
Also offered to Hampton and Giltner students, the class is split into four different quarters that will change the focus from topics out in the field, in the office and even other aspects such as banking and marketing.
