Praying for the country through scripture

“Prayer can and will change your life if you are willing to do one thing -- surrender,” said 2002 Aurora graduate Ryan Potter. “If you are ready to surrender your life completely to the Lord, and you are willing to act, I can promise you He will do great things.”
Before the sun even rose, that was the message during a prayer breakfast held in honor of the National Day of Prayer Thursday at The Leadership Center. Community members from old to young gathered to kick off the day with prayer and worship, along with a special message from Potter, who was the guest speaker for the event.
