Voters to decide Hampton school issue May 10

The Hampton School Board voted Monday to let patrons decide how to address the district’s facility needs, passing a resolution to ask a two-part question in a May 10 special election.
After months of studying the issues and various options, the board was unanimous in its support of a proposal to address the status of an aging elementary school, while also letting voters weigh in on a second proposal involving a new competition gymnasium.
