Lady Hawks come up one game short of championship

It just wasn’t meant to be.
The Hampton Lady Hawks led for much of the first three quarters in the CRC girls championship game, but couldn’t hold off BDS late, falling to the Eagles 39-36 at the City Auditorium in York.
“Their defensive intensity was amazing. They were on us and it’s not like we weren’t on them, they just put in a great shot,” LaBrie said. “Their defensive pressure took us out of our set play and you have to give credit where credit is due. BDS is a great team.”
