Ardyce Jeanne Rader Barnett, 81,  en­tered paradise March 27, 2015, at Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard. Memorial services were at  2 p.m. Friday, April 10, at Har­vard.United  Methodist Church, with Pastor Travis King officiating. A private family burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull.
There was no viewing or visitation as Ardyce’s wishes were to be cremated. Memorials may be given to Harvard United Methodist Church or Harvard Rest Ha­ven.  Private condolences may be sent to www.lbvfh.com.  Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center served the family.
Mrs.  Barnett was born April 19,1933, at Hasting to Glenn and Lila (Swanson) Rader. She was raised  in Trumbull and graduated from Trumbull High School. She married Bill Barnett in 1952 and to this union four children were born. In 1961 she moved to Harvard where she made her home until her death. She was a homemaker and worked at Harvard Rest Haven as activities director. Ardyce was a member of Har­vard United Methodist Church and was very active in church activities includ­ing Bible study, Methodist Women and a past Sunday School teacher. She also served on the Nursing Home Board. She  was  a  past  mem­ber of the Manor Board, PEO and 4-H leader. In Ardyce’s own  words  “My children, grandchildren and their spouses, and great-grandchil­dren are such a  joy and bless­ing to me. My prayer for them  is that each one will ·accept Jesus as  their Savior and live in  a way  that  would be pleasing to Him.”
Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents; brother, LaRue Rader; grandson Travis Carpenter and great-granddaughter Willow Yost.
Survivors include children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Teresa (Neal) Carpenter of Saron­ville, Nicole (Andrew) Hustad of Eagle, Colo., Asher, So­ren and Violet, Danielle (Chad) Parker of Lincoln, Evan, Levi, Mia, Kate and Ella, Jeanie (Don) Engel of Kearney,  Tyler (Leslie) En­gel of Gilbertsville, Pa., Sa­vannah, Camden and Maryn, Tanner (Cassi) Engel of Lin­coln, Nolan,  Landry and Se­lah, ReNae  (Casey) Mitchell of Amherst, Lainy, Libby and Londyn, Joel (Barb) Barnett of  Harvard, Natalie  Wagner of Lakewood, Colo., Paige (Justin) Yost of Omaha, Dani (Ryan) Lemburg of Hampton, Olivia and Nora, Eric (Mitzi) Barnett of Larkspur, Colo.,  Rachel (Jesse) Tortora of ‘Florida, Dacia Green of Florida, Chase Barnett of Denver, Colo., Nick Barnett of Larkspur, Colo., a brother and sister-in-law, Merlyn and Lucile Rader of Trumbull; a sister and brother-in-law, Tanya (Bob) Jaeggi of Columbus; sister-in-law, Dolores Rader of Trumbull, spe­cial friends, Verna Barnett, Rev. Henry and VeNita Faw­cett and many nieces, neph­ews, cousins and dear friends.
