Arlo Wilshusen

Arlo Wilshusen, age 64, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2015, at Hamilton Manor in Aurora.
 Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 26 at the Richland Cemetery.  Pastor Mark Hartley will officiate.  Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary until service time. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at
Arlo Eugene Wilshusen, the son of Arlo A. and Carol Jean (Fowler) Wilshusen, was born in Grand Island, on July 15, 1950 and passed away at Aurora, on January 22, 2015, at the age of 64.
Arlo grew up in Aurora and attended Aurora High School with the Class of 1968.  He lived in Aurora till he moved to Central City in 1995.  Arlo worked at the Frontier Station, Dowd Grain and Overland Ready Mix till his health prevented him from working.  In 2007, Arlo moved to Hamilton Manor in Aurora and was there until his death.
Arlo loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Arlo is survived by his sister, Kimberly Wilshusen of Amarillo, Texas and two nephews.
