The Giltner Lady Hornets came into Friday night's matchup with the D1 No. 8 Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Lady Eagles ranked No. 2 themselves and undefeated in

class D2. After the game was over, the Lady Hornets' record still remained unblemished as they took care of business on their home floor with a 38-19 win. After a tight first half which had Giltner on top 14-10, the Lady Hornets won the third quarter, outscoring BDS 14-2. During that stretch, senior forward Kelbie Lyon rattled off six of those 14 points.
