LB 464 brings in new laws regarding juvenile cases

A new legislative bill regarding the case filing of juveniles was effective on Jan. 1. The new statute, LB 464, states that if an accused juvenile is less than 18 years of age when a felony or misdemeanor was committed, the case must be filed in juvenile court by the county or city attorney.
