Lady Hornets take two in Blue Hill

The Giltner Lady Hornets drove the hour to Blue Hill and left with two wins in a triangular with the host-team Bobcats and Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Thursday night.

The first set against Blue Hill was really the only time Giltner was ever pressured in a match. It was tight all set, but a laser kill off Chainey Tompkin's right hand and a mis hit from a Blue Hill player pulled the Lady Hornets in front by two points for the 27-25 set win. The next set went a lot smoother for Giltner, they won 25-15. After a breif intermission to allow BDS to warm-up, the Lady Hornets made quick work of them, winning 25-13. The second set was similar to the frst, as they rolled again in a 25-16 win that ensured the two-game sweep in Blue Hill.
