Debra Dubas - July 16, 2013

Debra A. Dubas, 56, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at her home in Columbus.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 19, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus.
Debra A. Liss was born Oct. 25, 1956, to Raymond and Evelyn (Koziol) Liss in Columbus. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School.
Deb was married and moved to Clarks in 1981 where she had four children. She devoted the next 14 years of her life to raising her children and helping manage the family farm. Once the kids were in school, she went to work for Norms U-Save Pharmacy in Central City. Deb relocated back to Columbus shortly after her youngest son’s high school graduation, to be closer to her parents and siblings.
Deb loved spending time with her family, playing cards and her flowers. Deb was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother and sister who would always do anything for her family, even if that meant putting others before herself. She had two granddaughters who brought special joy to her life.
Deb was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons, Jeremy (Megan) Dubas of Aurora, Jason Dubas of Lincoln and Jesse Dubas of Aurora; one daughter, Samantha (Adam) Bender of Lincoln; mother Evelyn Liss of Columbus; brother David Liss of Soda Springs, Idaho; sister Diane (Bob) Will of Columbus; brother Duane (Sonya) Liss of Platte Center; brother Dale (Janet) Liss of Columbus; and sister Denise (Rock) Tarnick of Omaha; two granddaughters, MacKenzie Dubas and Camryn Bender.
She was preceded in death by father Raymond Liss.
