Will Alberts - June 11, 2009

Former Aurora resident Will O. Alberts, 36 of York, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at York.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 16 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with the Reverend Mike Neidow officiating. Burial will be in the Aurora Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 21, 1972 at Aurora to William and Linda (King) Alberts.
He married Reka Tracy on June 9, 2000 at Aurora.
He had previously worked at Grosshans in Aurora and was presently working in the parts department at York Equipment Co. in York.
He was a big Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan as well as a Nebraska Cornhusker fan. He followed the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team as well. He also enjoyed writing and NASCAR Racing. His family was very important to him, especially his daughter Lizzy who was his “princess” and his dog, Precious. He was a people person and he lived to make people smile.
Survivors include his wife Reka and his daughter Lizzy of York; parents, William and Linda Alberts of Aurora; three sisters, Sonia (Matt) Kiger of Irene, S.D., Grace Alberts of Bellevue, and Jennifer (Steve) Crawford of Crofton; grandpa Nells Oliver (Vivian) Alberts of Aurora; mother-in-law Sharon Tracy of York; sisters-in-law, Tanya (Patrick) Benson of Genoa and Gwyneth Tracy of Lincoln; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, maternal grandparents and father-in-law, Lonnie Tracy.
