Lois Condon - March 09, 2013

Lois Condon, 97, of Aurora, died on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Memorial Community Care.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 15, at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Rev. Mary Scott will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

Lois Frances Condon, daughter of Roy and Clara (Weber) Guard, was born at Aurora on Jan. 3, 1916.
She grew up and attended school in Aurora.
On Nov. 11, 1933, she was united in marriage to Marion Condon at York. They farmed in the Aurora area until they retired and moved to Aurora in 1982. Lois was a busy farm wife and mother, raising four sons on their dairy farm. Marion died on May 7, 1992.
Lois was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and belonged to various church and social groups. She was also a Gold Star Mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two sons, Robert and Ronald Condon; sisters, Pauline Matthews and Marcelene Fraiser and one great-great grandchild, Peyton.
Survivors include her two sons, Vance (Ramona) Condon of Silver Creek, and Gary (Jean) Condon of Fremont; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Guard of Palisade, Colo. and Willard Guard of Littleton, Colo. and two daughters-in-law, Mary Jean Condon of Coronado, Calif. and Deanna Berg of Grand Island.
