Helen Luby - December 30, 2012

Former Giltner resident Helen Louise Luby, 82, of San Angelo, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at a San Angelo care center with her family by her side.
Helen was born Feb. 16, 1930 in Giltner, one of 11 children born to John Joseph and Clara Harriet Luby.
She was known for her love of sports, soap operas, Elvis and country music. She was fortunate to have attended many sports events and country music concerts throughout her live. Though never married and with no children of her own, she is attributed to helping raise countless numbers of nieces and nephews. She was fondly referred to as “Aunt Tony” by her many nieces and nephews.
Survivors include three sisters, Betty Rhynehart of The Woodlands, Texas, Shirlee Sahs of Lincoln and Dorothy Weller of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Patricia Davis, Regina Garrison, Janette Hohnstein, Julie Spaulding, James Luby, Jackie Luby and Jerry Luby.
