Yolanda Garcia - November 10, 2012

Yolanda ‘Jolanda’ Garcia, 49, of Fullerton, formerly of Aurora and Grand Island, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Bryan/LGH West in Lincoln.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 16, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Rev. Dennis Hunt will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Aurora. Visitation will be one hour prior to service, with the Wake at 9:30 a.m.

Yolanda Ann Garcia, daughter of Edmundo ‘Raymond’ and Estella (Montelongo) Garcia, was born in Aurora on June 17, 1963.
She grew up in Aurora and attended Aurora High School. Yolanda worked at a variety of jobs following her schooling in Aurora and then in Grand Island; cleaning homes, dog sitting and house sitting. Yolanda lived in Fullerton since 2010.
Yolanda loved to run and was a true Nebraska fan. She loved her family. Yolanda was friendly and got along with everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her three brothers, Richard (Deb) Garcia of Parkville, Mo., Robert Garcia of Sacramento, Calif. and Mark Garcia of Milliken, Colo.; two sisters, Julie (Jerry) Bartley of Aurora and Becky Eshbaugh of Knoxville, Tenn.; two stepsisters, Rachel Cordova and Teresa (Mike) Madden both of Aurora; many nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts.
