Lynda Darlene Larsen - August 03, 2012

Lynda Darlene (Zade) Larsen died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at her home in Orleans, Neb., after a short battle with cancer.
Services were Thursday, Aug. 9, at Prayer Baptist Church in Orleans with Pastor Michael David officiating. Private family burial will be held later.
Lynda was born to Lester and Violet (Mays) Zade in Alma, Neb., on May 3, 1953. She lived most of her life in Orleans, however she attended school in Oregon when her family moved there in 1960, returning in 1963.
She married John A. Larsen on July 10, 1970. They had one son, John Jr. They later divorced. Lynda married Randy Barnes on Feb. 16, 1987. Lynda and Randy lived in Aurora for quite some time. They enjoyed traveling to 48 states while they had their trucking business.
Lynda moved back to Orleans in 2003 and purchased her own home. Although her health was failing, she enjoyed decorating her home, growing flowers and making hand soap.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother Wally and most recently her beloved son, John Larsen.
She is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Wyona (David) Koehler of Las Vegas, Pat (Jerry) Pohl of Aurora, Marilyn (Junior) Cuba of Glenvil, brother Wayne (Zip) Zade of Orleans and sister-in-law Linda Zade of Stromsburg; grandchildren: Jaime (Chris) Hyde, Derek, Mariah and Ryan Larsen, all of Aurora, special friend, Wayne Harrison of Orleans and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Memorials can be given to the family or St. Judes.
