Lora L. Dillman - March 23, 2011

Lora L. Dillman, 83, of Kearney, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Mother Hull Home in Kearney.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral Home in Kearney with Thane Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Ong Cemetery in Ong at a later date. Memorials are planned to the Mother Hull Home, AseraCare Hospice or the 7th Day Adventist Missions.

Lora was born March 31, 1927 on the family ranch near Newcastle, Wyo. to James F. and Lora L. (West) Davis. She attended school at the Platte Valley Academy at Shelton, graduating from high school in 1946.
Lora married Merle C. Dillman on Dec. 22, 1948 near Riverton, Wyo. and she was employed as a sales lady for Watkins and Fuller Brush until she retired. Lora moved to Kearney in 2002 and was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church.
Surviving relatives include four daughters, Tereca Diffenderfer of Kearney, Mary Hakanson of Kearney, Merle Ann (Edwin) Schell of Grand Island, Connie (Doug) Washburn of San Jose, Calif.; three sons, Clyde (Ranee) Dillman of, Dale (Mary) Dillman of Kearney, Mark (Deb) Dillman of Republic, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; a sister, Myrtle Shaner of Riverton, Wyo.; a brother, Elmore (Dee) Davis of Lander, Wyo.; an uncle, Clyde West of Mesa, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle, on Feb. 7, 1987, two grandsons, one great-granddaughter and one brother, James Davis.
