Adam Hansen - December 23, 2009

Adam James Hansen, 22, of Blair, grandson of Aurora residents Calvin and RoseMary Hansen, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 28 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with the Revs. Tim Marshall and Mike Neidow officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, York. Memorials are directed to Boy Scout Troop 174 in York or to the family.
He was born Feb. 22, 1987 to Dwight and Deb (Snell) Hansen at York. He was a 2005 graduate of York High School and then graduated from I.T.T. Technical Institute in Omaha in the fall of 2008. While in high school, he was employed with York General Hearthstone for three years. He was currently employed with Mid America Computer Corporation in Blair, as a computer programmer.
He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Growing up, he was a member of Boy Scout Troop 174 in York, 4-H and the York Dolphin Swim Team. He enjoyed running, camping, and visiting with friends online.
Survivors include his parents, Dwight and Deb Hansen of York; four brothers, Derek Hansen and his fiancée Carrie Mallison of Grand Island, Brock (Jordan) Hansen of Lincoln, Caleb Hansen of York; and sister Christina Hansen of Lincoln; his grandparents, Larry and Gaylene Snell of York and Calvin and RoseMary Hansen of Aurora; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his co-workers at Mid America Computer Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Jeannie Hansen.
