Lola Bedinger - November 27, 2009

Lola Bedinger, 95, of Aurora, died, Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 at Memorial Community Care.
A memorial service was held, Saturday, Dec. 12 at United Lutheran Church in Hampton. Rev. Chris Kester Beyer officiated. Inurnment will be at the Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon, Ill. at a later date.

Lola Bedinger, daughter of Amos and Martha (Dalton) Dalton, was born in Brook, Ind. on Sept. 1, 1914. She grew up in Kentland, Ind. where she attended schools in that area.
She married Joseph Bedinger on Feb. 15, 1932, at Kentland, Ind. Following their marriage, they farmed for 39 years in Kentland. Her husband died on Aug. 8, 1985. She moved to Aurora in 1995 to be near her son, Bill.
She enjoyed crocheting and she especially enjoyed following St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; son Fred Bedinger; four sisters and daughter-in-law, Marian Bedinger.
Survivors include her son, William Bedinger of Hampton; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Vergas of Arizona; six grandchildren, Debra Gans of Lincoln, Diane (Dennis) Farver of Newton, Iowa, Janet (Keaton) Beaumont of Woodbridge, Va., Carrie, Becky and Alan; 15 great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
