Harry Luth - November 12, 2009

Harry Luth, 63, of Hastings, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at Butler-Volland Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Adam White officiating. Burial was in Inland Cemetery, Inland.

Harry Dean Luth was born March 22, 1946 in Grant to Wilbur H. and Jean H. (Hartzell) Luth. The family moved to Hastings where he graduated from Hastings High School.
He owned Royal Billiards and Luth Bros. Painting Company. In 1985, he began working at Kucera Painting where he was currently employed.
He married Carolyn Mitchell Harris on June 30, 1989 in Hastings. He enjoyed all sports, especially pool. He was a member of the American Legion and Eagles Aerie Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa; sister, Sandra; brothers, Chuck, Billy and Royce.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn “Corky” Luth of Hastings; children, Samantha Luth of Hastings, Greg (Julie) Ellis of Glenvil, Bill Ellis of Hastings, George Ellis of Milwaukee, Wisc., Pam Sweeney of Hastings, Nancy (Bill) Arndt of Aurora; one sister, Phyllis Howard of Hastings; numerous Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
