Warren E. Traudt - March 10, 2014

Warren E. Traudt passed away on March 10, 2014. He was born Jan. 14, 1917 in Nebraska and came to Hemet in 1990 where he lived until his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Florence of 31 years, his son Ronald Traudt, his daughter Paula (Shannon) Weaver, his two grandchildren Kimberly and David, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Warren was raised on a farm in Nebraska during the depression. He graduated from Stockham High School. After he graduated from high school, he entered the Army-Air Corps. After the Army, he was a supervisor at a manufacturing plant that produced plane parts during WWII. After WWII he went to work for American Airlines as a mechanic. He then became a pilot-training Flight Engineer for TWA and retired from there after 26 years.
Warren enjoyed life after his retirement by touring, cruising, RVing and other travels until his health prevented his travels the last seven years of his life.
The viewing for Warren was held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Miller-Jones Mortuary at 10 a.m. immediately followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. and the funeral was held at Riverside National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
