The final week of this year’s 60-day legislative session was a long, tiring and emotional run for Dist. 34 Sen. Annette Dubas, one of 17 lawmakers being term-limited out of office at the end of the year.
Though focused on the task at hand of conducting the state’s business, Dubas said the final day was a bit of a roller-coaster ride.
“Yesterday was a very emotional day knowing that I’m coming to the end of my legislative career,” Dubas said. To read more, see this week's print or e-editions.
