|Motor vehicle, net taxable sales both up in January|
Hamilton County posted healthy gains in both motor vehicle sales and net taxable sales during January, starting the new year on a positive note.
It was the sixth time in the past seven months sales increased by a double-digit percentage.
The Nebraska Department of Revenue reported the county’s motor vehicle sales tax collection for January added up to $2,716,540, a 5.3 percent increase over the previous year. To read more, see this week's print or e-editions.
