|Hampton voters to decide on new city hall|
Hampton village board members say they are proud of their community and recent efforts to keep things moving forward, except for one thing -- city hall.
The aging downtown structure has a leaky roof and a long list of structural problems, plus a thumbs down from an engineer asked to assess the building’s long-term status. After months of consideration, the board’s solution is to tear down the old structure and build a new city hall on the same site. For a complete story, see this week's print or e-editions.
