Storm boys ranked No. 1, Giltner girls 2nd PDF E-mail

An undefeated High Plains boys basketball team tops the D2 charts in a Top 10 poll released this week by the Omaha World-Herald.

The Storm is No. 1 at 8-0, Spalding-SA is No. 2 at 8-0, followed by Wynot (8-2), Falls City Sacred Heart (8-1), Lincoln Parkview (5-3), Hitchcock County (8-1), Bancroft-Rosalie (7-1), Exeter-Milligan (5-2), Sterling (7-2) and Wallace, (6-0).

On the girls side, Giltner is rated No. 2 in D2 with a record of 8-1. Falls City Sacred Heart, 9-0, is listed at No. 1. Sterling (7-2) is ranked No. 3, followed by Diller-Odell (7-1), Stuart (8-1), Mead (5-2), Silver Lake (6-3), Wynot (6-4), Exeter-Milligan (5-3) and Eustis-Farman (5-3).
