Aurora moves up after GINW win PDF E-mail

The Aurora and High Plains football teams moved up in the ratings following Friday wins.

The Huskies are sixth in Class B according to the Omaha World-Herald. Gretna (7-0) is No. 1, followed by Omaha Skutt (6-1), Ralston (7-0), Crete (5-2), Omaha Gross (4-3), Aurora (6-1), York (6-1), McCook (6-1), Elkhorn South (5-2) and Elkhorn (5-2).

High Plains jumped three spots to sixth in the Lincoln Journal Star. The list includes Exeter-Milligan (6-0), Howells-Dodge (6-0), Creighton (6-0), BDS (6-0), Overton (6-0), High Plains (6-1), West Point GACC (5-1), Elm Creek (5-1), Heartland (6-0) and Hemingford (6-0).

Giltner stayed No. 2 in the World-Herald’s Class D2 ratings. Those include Falls City Sacred Heart (6-0), Giltner (5-1), Wynot (6-0), Amherst (6-0), Wallace (7-0), Fullerton (4-2), Humphrey St. Francis (5-1), Medicine Valley (5-1), Shelton (5-1) and Lyons-Decatur NE (5-1).
