After fast start, Storm drowned at tournament PDF E-mail

The second-ever trip for the High Plains boys basketball team to the state tournament didn’t last as long as the Storm hoped it would.
High Plains saw an eight-point second-quarter lead turn into a seven-point halftime deficit, and they could never recover as defending champion St. Mary’s handed the Storm a 67-56 defeat Thursday.
