For the second straight year, three Hamilton County teams are in the NSAA boys basketball state tournament thanks to victories in district championship games Tuesday. Pairings were released Wednesday morning by the NSAA.
Aurora (14-9) is the No. 8 seed in Class B and will face

defending state champ Scottsbluff (21-5) in a rematch from last year’s tournament. They play at 7 p.m. March 7 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
The Huskies advanced to state after upsetting top-seed Northwest in the district championship Tuesday (Click Soundslide link at right).
High Plains (21-4) is the No. 7 seed in Class D1 and faces defending champion St. Mary’s (22-2) at 2 p.m. March 7 at Lincoln North Star.
The Storm qualified after upsetting then-undefeated Kenesaw for the district title.
Giltner (21-4) makes its fifth straight state tournament, this time as the No. 7 seed. The two-time defending state champs battle second-seed Wynot (22-3) in a rematch from the semifinals from each of the last two years.
The Hornets made the field after soundly defeating Amherst for a district crown.
