Technology is what’s driving both ends of that spectrum these days -- thanks to a 1-to-1 iPad initiative approved by school board members last year that put 850 of the devices in the hands of all students and teachers in grades 6-12 and equipped seven mobile carts in the elementary school. From Kidblog and PicCollage in the elementary school to edmodo, ask3, nearpod and educreation at the middle and high schools, educational apps of all kinds are instantly engaging students at school and expanding the classroom.
