Hornets, Storm boys basketball drop in ratings PDF E-mail

Giltner dropped one spot to second and High Plains slipped four places down to sixth in the prep boys basketball ratings released Tuesday morning.

Falls City Sacred Heart (10-1) moved ahead of the Hornets (9-1) in D2. The rest of the ratings include Humphrey St. Francis (8-1), Wausa (11-1), Wynot (11-1), Leyton (8-0), Spalding/SA (11-1), Sterling (9-3), Bancroft-Rosalie (9-2) and Parkview Christian (8-2).

The Class D1 list is Howells-Dodge (12-0), Kenesaw (11-0), O’Neill St. Mary’s (8-1), Pawnee City (9-2), Paxton (10-0), High Plains (7-2), Burwell (11-0), Arapahoe (10-2), BDS (9-2) and McCool Junction (8-1).

Both the Giltner and Hampton girls basketball teams dropped out of the D2 ratings. Giltner was as high as No. 3 in the preseason while Hampton was No. 7.
