York-Hamilton Cattlemens Banquet on Jan. 8 in McCool Junction PDF E-mail

Tickets for the York-Hamilton County Cattlemen’s annual banquet are now on sale.

The 65th annual Cattlemen’s Banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the Stone Creek Event Center in McCool Junction with a cash bar at 6:30 and meal at 7 p.m.

The entertainment for the evening will feature Kier of Nashville, Tenn. Kier identified himself as a comedian/musician/impersonator. Kier has entertained at festivals, comedy clubs, college and corporate events all over the U.S.

Brock Ekhoff, Cattlemen’s president said the Cattlemen would be honoring Jerry Chvatal, owner of Henderson Meat Processors, and Jerry Ekhoff, owner or Aurora Meat Block, for their involvement in the beef industry if the area.

Tickets for the Cattlemen’s Banquet are $17.50 per person and includes the prime rib beef dinner and entertainment for the evening. Tickets are available from any of the Cattlemen’s directors, which include: Brian Blasé of Hordville; Brock Ekhoff, Terry Ross and Jeff Spiehs of Aurora; Chad Hoffschneider and Matt Rathjen of Waco; Allen Klute and Mark Klute of Hampton; Jeff Meradith and Kim Regier of York; Kim Siebert of Henderson; Jeff Underwood of Exeter and Dale Moore of Stromsburg. Plus, tickets are available at the UNL Extension Office in York County at 2345 Nebraska Ave. York.
