Continuing mechanical breakdowns on the Hamilton County Ambulance Service’s 1997 ambulance has prompted commissioners to give the green light to developing specs for a new ambulance and soliciting bids for a Ford and/or Dodge chassis. Ambulance director Cathy Sigler and assistant director Mark Kubik met with commissioners Monday to update them on the latest breakdown -- a faulty fuel pump that is expected to cost the county an estimated $1,000 to replace. |
