The third-rated Giltner girls basketball team found plenty of breathing room amidst a parade of free throws Friday against High Plains, as the Lady Hornets pocketed a 64-29 early-season victory. It was the Storm’s season opener, while Giltner opened one day earlier with a 57-26 win at Harvard. The contest was the Crossroads Conference opener for both teams. |
